This year the review opens on Thursday 14 July, 7.30 p.m., with a ballet dancer celebrated all over the world: Carla Fracci. A star and her best friend. A great friendship revealed in this interview-tribute that takes inspiration from Carla Fracci’s book, “From A to Z”, that Giuliana Gargiulo published with Graus Editor. An alphabet full of memories, rehearsals, hard work, emotions, dancers and ballets. The evening of 14, unreached with some historical archive footages and with the presence of maestro Beppe Menegatti and Elisabetta Testa, is intended to be an affectionate tribute to one of the most appreciated artists of the Twentieth Century, an Italian étoile in the world. The review, which title was born from an idea of Sorrento Mayor, Giuseppe Cuomo, is edited by Giuliana Gargiulo, granddaughter of historian Manfredi Fasulo, Sorrentinean by birth and Neapolitan by adoption, writer of numerous books and interviews to protagonists of the world of culture and show. The event is intended to express the spirit of this land, offering to citizens and visitors the opportunity to join amusement occasions to cultural growth moments. |
